Torpoint Mosquito Sailing Club 

Members from the Old Cornwall Society and The Torpoint Archives are holding a free to attend Maritime Memory Day.

Come along and join the discussion, and share your memories and knowledge of the River Tamar and Plymouth Sound with us.

The Torpoint Archives volunteers will be on hand to make short  audio recordings of those who wish to share their memories and recollections of life and living by the Tamar for posterity. 

No booking needed, just turn up with your memories.

March 2026 Cornwall Council have submitted plans to change the lantern in Elliot Square. It is part of the towns history and is also Grade 2 listed.  We need to preserve the lantern and urge people to view the planning and lodge their views on this.Online planning register - Cornwall Council  PA26/00356

There is currently also a petition available for anyone to sign at the Torpoint Archives.
